About Our Practice
Our Aims & Mission
Victoria Harbour Medical Centre commenced practice on the 20th of September 2004 and was the first medical centre in the Docklands precinct. We are an inclusive general practice with the aim to provide safe, high quality, personalised and comprehensive primary medical care throughout all life phases.
Our Facilities
Victoria Harbour Medical Centre has been purpose built with 3 spacious waiting areas, 16 consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms and 2 pathology collection rooms. There is a ramp entrance from Merchant Street for patients with impaired mobility.
An Accredited Practice
Victoria Harbour Medical Centre is proud to be AGPAL accredited. AGPAL is the leading provider of national general practice accreditation which assesses and measures standards of delivering safe and quality health care developed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Our Doctors
All our doctors are vocationally trained and accredited general practitioners (GPs) and Fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Victoria Harbour Medical Centre is also committed to teaching and provides vocational training positions for doctors who are specialising in general practice. Every six months we have registrar doctors rotating through our practice to further their general practice experience. Registrars are fully qualified doctors and are supervised by Dr Marc Herington and Dr Gillian Porter.
